With the ever increasing growth in the lands around Carcassonne comes the ever increasing need for religion and refreshment. Monks requiring sacramental wine and nobility wanting all the wine they can get proves a lucrative market for the crafty wine merchants.

If a segment of a completed road contains a wine cellar, the thief earns additional points for each cloister and/or pennant(s) in a city connected to the road. The amount of additional points earned is based on the length of the road, which determines the wine’s vintage.
